A round box finished in deep red, with fine gilt lines around the lid and sides and a small push-button catch on top. Inside, the box and the rim of the lid are finished in olive green.
A handsome case for rings, earrings or small keepsakes, or simply for a dressing table. There are light marks from use, as the photos show.
