Description
Silver one rupee coins struck for British India in the early 1900s, with the crowned portraits of King Edward VII and King George V. The reverse reads ONE RUPEE INDIA with the date, framed by a floral wreath beneath a crown.
Each coin is 91.7% silver and weighs about 11.66 g. These coins were in circulation, so wear and toning vary from coin to coin. A traditional choice for Diwali and Dhanteras, for puja or as a gift.
The price is per coin. Your coin is picked from the lot shown. If you would like Edward VII or George V, or a particular year, add a note at checkout or message us and we will match it where we can.
